HEY, I'M CHRIS K -
The brains and sense of humor behind Kowalski Carpentry
"I knew at a young age I wanted to work with my hands and be creative."
After graduating from Joseph P Keefe technical high school, top in my carpentry class and receiving the Kenneth J Nichols award for excellence, I jumped into the world of contracting.
The problem? Multiple contractors that I worked for seemed to be verbally abusive and created a terrible work environment. So, the next step for me was obvious - go out on my own.
Kowalski Carpentry began in 2002, with the goal that I would never be the kind of boss that I had previously worked for. I wanted to break outside the norm of the carpentry industry, creating an environment that not only my employees enjoy, but my customers do too.
Upon relocating to Stratham in 2019, I have surrounded myself with an amazing crew of subcontractors and employees. I'm lucky enough to have hired employees who are not only wonderful human beings, but are polite, honest, dependable and have a great work ethic.
We have created a culture on our job site of please and thank you, family first and an environment for my apprentices to flourish. I love these guys and they continue to impress me every single day with the brotherhood and connection.
We are not just renovating your house, we’re building relationships, and sometimes we even become a part of the family.
MEET TOM
Tom has been working with Kowalski Carpentry for over 5 years. He's a whiz at tile work and additions. He loves learning and building with the guys every day.

When he's not working, you can find him mountain biking or fly fishing or spending time with his wife and son.
MEET ROCCO
Rocco may be the youngest member of our crew, but having been with us for about a year, he's become an integral part of it. Though he's finding joy in tile work and siding, Rocco has never met a demo day he didn't like!
When he's not working, you can find him playing basketball or playing video games with his friends. If he could have any superpower in the world, he'd love to have super sonic hearing!
MEET JACK
Jack started working with Kowalski Carpentry over two years ago and has loved it since. He's happiest working outside all summer, especially when they find themselves on the lake! Jack loves working with all the guys and the sense of brotherhood that Kowalski Carpentry has created for them.
Supersonic powers? He'd love to be able to teleport, that way he can take a power nap with his cat Rita (short for Margarita Salt Haslam) on his lunch break.
Plus, I love to spend my time helping the next generation.
